Women's abortion rights
The article A Woman's Rights is against women who are coping with pregnancy who are facing jail time. "Say she got in a car accident in New York or gave birth to a stillborn in Indiana: In such cases, women have been charged with manslaughter." Women are charged on accidents that are not their fault that endanger or kill their children.
The writer also is against the eroding of the rights of women by giving rights to unborn babies. "As it has done so, it’s begun not only to extend rights to clusters of cells that have not yet developed into viable human beings, but also to erode the existing rights of a particular class of people — women. " The writer sees babies as a fetus in the womb that are not fully developed people so therefore shouldn't have any rights. The writer includes in her article that 'a handful of Republican strategists recognized in abortion an explosively emotional issue that could motivate evangelical voters and divide Democrats' which shows her opinion over abortion.
The writer does not understand that babies are people who have a life and future ahead of them. She does not understand others perspective that they are living beings too who deserve a life. The writer only values those who already have experienced life and have emotions and memories. I agree with the writer and think that only those who have lived a life should matter. Their life should not be ruined for something that is unborn.
A picture of a pregnant woman crawled up in a black background gains attention of a woman's who is in misery because her rights are being taken away. The bold lettering also attracts attention that make it seem as something important. The white wording against black give it more of a dark feeling of the wrongness of taking away woman's rights for a baby.
